Why learn online?
More and more people are using internet video conference to learn a language. It's an affordable way to get one-to-one tuition at home. It's great fun and you can learn at your own pace.
If you don't already have the Skype app installed on your computer/tablet, download it here. You also need a webcam and speakers, and a good internet connection.
My Spanish courses
I provide courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students of all ages, as well as lessons for secondary school students (GCSE/AS/A level). Each lesson lasts about 45-50 minutes.
I also teach children age 3 and up.
Beginners
Whether you are a young or an adult learner, we start from the beginning!
My course covers all the grammatical aspects of the language and follows a coursebook structure. We can also focus on your particular interests and aims.
Be prepared for reading and writing, but mostly for lots of speaking to get you to express yourself confidently in the Spanish language.
Intermediate and advanced
If you have studied Spanish before and need to refresh your skills or to take it to the next level, then these regular one-to-one lessons are for you. We will review the tenses and grammar you already know and then move on to more complex structures. We will work with more interesting and advanced texts.
For advanced students, it's always good to keep practicing and adding to your vocabulary. As a native Spanish speaker, I can help you to enrich your expressions and improve your fluency with up-to-date conversation.
GCSE, AS and A level students
Lessons once or twice a week will supplement your school lessons and help you keep pace with your course. I can help you understand the topics you did not understand in class. We can work through your course material for your particular curriculum (AQA, Edexcel etc).
Or maybe you want to book a few lessons before your exams to help clear any doubts. We can focus on particular areas where you need more help, and practice speaking, writing and listening with confidence.
Children ages 3 and up
These lessons are really fun. I work with flash cards and other visual material. Sometimes we might even sing! Your child will need a notebook to write things down or draw, according to their literacy stage.
Lessons are 15-30 minutes long and at least one parent needs to be present. You will see how fast your child learns! Please contact me for prices and more info.
When are lessons available?
You can start this week! I provide lessons in the afternoon and evenings, Monday to Friday and also weekends, subject to availability.
